is it a male? if it is it sounds like he's a bit frustrated and needs some female company. IP: Logged |

It is suggested that when you buy mollies that you get more than one female (especially if you are trying to breed) or no females because you will run into the problem you are having. Male mollies will relentlessly try to mate with the female and sometimes the female can die of exhaustion. One way to tell the difference between the two is that the male has a pointy anal fin where a female has a more rounded or fanned fin. Just a hunch but it sounds like you have a male and a female and the male is the one doing all the chasing. Good luck! IP: Logged |

The same thing happend with my Long finned black skirt tetra and my angelfish. I have a breeder for livebarres so i tried putting the tetra in there for like thirty minites and he stopped bothering the angelfish. IP: Logged |
