my pearl arowana has been swimming tail down for 3 days .. everything checked but still no signs of recovery .. its struggling and has no appettie ,, god knows what happened IP: Logged |

When you say eveything checked out what all did you check. How often do you check the parameters? The reason I ask is your Ph for example can check out fine but could have been alot different in the past maybe high maybe low. The most important thing is to keep it constant. You can have high or low Ph and have healthy fish as long as it stays consistant. Does the fish have a lump or swelling in the belly area? If so this could be a bladder problem. If you see signs of this you should treat it soon. Some fish never overcome this and the ones that do are permantly damaged. The longer it goes the more damage it will have and the shorter it's life will be as a result. ------------------ IP: Logged |
