I recently purchased a juvenile Pacu. I was wondering what food can I purchase on the market that will be the best for my Pacu where growth is concerned? IP: Logged |

When I bought my 2 pacus, I was told by the guy at the pet store that they would tear up endive if I gave it to them. I went from that store to the grocery store. My pacus barely touched the stuff. I find mine like shrimp pellets and the freeze dried shrimp. They do just fine on regular fish food as well. They like to chase the flakes around when the flakes get caught in the water streams from the filter. IP: Logged |

if you want to get them big quick, feed them firemouth floating pellets (walmart for about 11.00) and worm cubes (also at walmart for 6.00) don't know what it is but mine grew about 4 inches in 2 months IP: Logged |
