Hi, My tank is only about a week old and the water is cloudy and greenish. Is there something wrong with the condition of the water? I did put some streezyme (which contains bacteria that can speed up the cycle process). Thanks. Jenny IP: Logged |

Keep it away from direct sun light. Too much sun light will make the water go cludy and greeny. IP: Logged |

defintly a light problem, see aleage will blossum under light, im guessing your leaving your tank on for extended periods of time? try keepin the lights on for a max of 8 hours a day, (the max is 12 for a healthy tank) secondly... if htis doesnt cure it try some water changes, but that might only help for alittle while... lastly your going to need to spend some money, aa UV sterilizer will get rid of it for sure, but theres some money involved in that one, IP: Logged |
