Hello...did you just swtich their food? If you did gas is normal but should go away as they get use to the food. Also if you did just switch their food, did u do it gradually? If you switch the food slowly by keeping in thier old food, and using less and less of the old food, they may not have so much gas. Otherwise their stomachs are not used to the food, so just give it time. IP: Logged |

My pup did this as well when we switched to Innova. I ended up switching her to Healthwise, which is another food made by the same people. Giving it time should help, though, as Winnie said.

Mine just get the once in a while gas, maybe one or twice a month. I did notice though, my poodle will fart if she eats carrots. I know they are in Innova, but not enough to give gas, just if I give her more with it. So no more carrots. I don't think it will cause any internal damage, unless they are trying to hold them in, which I doubt it. LOL ------------------ IP: Logged |

Charcoal tablet add to meal. Stay away from gravy, product called Missing Link add to food might help. Might be a digestion problem with food being to rich. The best is not always best to food. Keep eye on stool and make sure they don't have worms. By the way just like people dogs can get spastic colon. Had a Bull dog that could melt the paint off a house had to put him on meds, but I found Rolaids did the trick and the cost was a lot lower and that boy sure loved them. 2pyrs IP: Logged |
