I was reading somewhere that even though Labradoodles are hyped as being hypoallergenic there is no guarantee that someone will not be allergic to them. I see lots of these designer dogs in the shelter in the future when people realize they can be allergic to them as easily as any other dog. IP: Logged |

found my source (gotta have the source) "Most allergists believe that no dog is 100 percent allergy-free, and often as dogs grow older their coats can change and become more troublesome for allergy sufferers." http://abcnews.go.com/sections/US/Entertainment/doodle_dogs_040210-1.html IP: Logged |

I just saw some of these advertised in my local paper. The ad said "Be the first to have one." That kind of irritated me, like it is some sort of status symbol or something. Oh, and they were like $600 a pop. IP: Logged |
