You should call a vet and ask that question. They can advise you over the phone about whether or not the little guy should be seen. Call a couple different ones and compare the answers if it makes you feel better. (I do crazy things like that all the time....and then drive myself nuts trying to decide who to believe...) To post a picture, you need to have it uploaded to web somewhere - either your own web page or a photo site or something. Then you start a new message or reply to an old one and click on the link that says "Insert a picture" which is right below the box you type the text in. Put the URL of your photo into the box that pops up.

My runt, which really wansn't a runt at all, he was only .02 oz less than everyone else, any how, he shook alot. The vet said that I should put them on a heating pad on low, not all the time, but during the nights, I should check it often to make sure it stayed at or around 85 no higher no lower.... I would go to the vet and make sure that he is ok. I would also wrap him in a blanket just to make sure that he is warm enough. I hope that tis helps you!!! Ashley [This message has been edited by ahoycatfish (edited 01-07-2004).] IP: Logged |

HI Susan Some puppys shake after feeding you will find when they start eating solids they will all shake. I agree with Jamiya and call a couple of different vets to ask about it until then keep him warm and see how he goes. Is he the smallest of the litter as the runt usually does not get as much heat from mum than the larger puppies. mike IP: Logged |
