My sister and I got puppies at the same time (4 months ago). Our puppies have been staying together during our work hours for company. I am moving soon and I wanted to leave Shelby (my puppy) home alone. What can I expect to happen? Will she be sad? She will see Jacke (my sister's dog) and other dogs at the park in the evenings several times during the week, will she learn to adjust to being by herself. IP: Logged |

hi there, i have found that if you start by leaving your puppy alone for 5minutes then going back then lenghten the time by 10minutes he will become used to you being away give him plenty of toys and stuff to play with and hopefully he should become content with them while your away he will be upset the first couple of times your away but aslong as you pet him and love him when you get home he will realise your not going to leave him and not come back so he will settle keep us posted of how he is doing IP: Logged |
