My new 6 month old dalmation is extremely shy and timid. She wants to come and be pet but it's like she's scared. If anyone has any info. on how to help the dog overcome this please tell me. It will be greatly appreciated.

You should lay on the floor with it and then let it walk on top of you or pull it on top of you this will develop trust between you and it.
