Ok my little Lhasapoo is looking like a sheepdog and I can't decide whether to cut her hair or not. I'm dying to let it grow long just to see what it would look like. I also think it might be cute to see her with a little top knot . On the otherhand this sheep dog in between stuff is looking quite a mess. So should I clip her or not????? it's driving me crazy trying to decide. By th way. Coco can't be anymore then 5 inches to the shoulder and probably less soaking wet with her hair plastered down.

i got bella clipped in january and boy does she seem to love it

my mother keeps her lhasa long, but i think its easier on both the dog and momma if they are short..

does it get during the summer where you are? if yes, then i would clip her for comfort..

just my $.02

Hey...I totally understand what you are going through. I have a maltipoo and I always have thought that small dogs look sooo cute with their hair all grown out, touching the ground So when I got Romeo I was determined to let his hair grow out. Well, that lasted about 2 months... I could not stand his hair getting all choppy and him looking scrappy...so I broke down and tried to do his hair w/ the clippers...I think that my baby probably looked somewhat like yours-like a little rat! So..my husband and friends and family all agreed that if I felt like I needed to save money and try and cut the dogs hair myself that they would all pitch in a get some $ to get him professionally clipped..LOL He looks so cute when he comes home from the groomers and is so good for them, while he will not be still for me. So my advice, while I feel your pain.. is call the groomer. Maybe she can just clean up your little lhasa sheep dog.lol

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Too late! I already scalped her TOO !

Ugh it all wouldn't be so bad but she was one of those ones that are so ugly and little they are cute.... and not she is super ugly! Does that mean she's super cute is double talk!!!!!!
She looked so much like a Lhasa when she was 8 weeks but now she's looking all poodle with a pointy face and long straight tail and pokey fuzzy straight hair .... or I should say Used to have pokey straight fuzzy hair.

Oh well, she has a good personality anyway LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
