Thanks guys for all the info on Shih tzu's it has helped me decide that the dog i want is a shihpoo. It's sounds like a great dog, perfect for me! I just want to find a good breeder now, so if anyone knows of any in British Columbia let me know! I can't wait, i've decided i want a female!

glad you decided on what kind of furkid you want, try looking on the net for a shittzu breeder and then call him or her up, see if they do crosses

HECK too bad you aren't here near me . I know of a georgeous Shihpoo that is near me and the person is not a breeder just someone who had a litter so no breeder prices!!!!!

To tell the truth I have no idea other then what I saw when I got my Shihpoo the other day. There was one male pure snow white little guy left and his hair was pure silky straight. The parents were there and were freindly and everything but i really didn't ask a zillion questions because I really was only looking for pet quality and was satisfied the pup and parents were friendly clean looking and well groomed . So far my new pup is doing great and no problems. sorry I can't tell you anything about the technical stuff but I just don't know what to look for .

Ohhhhhh I do remember that I was told the parents were both older. I think something like 8 years and 7 years. The man said the breeding was accidental and he owned both dogs for years. The litter size was 3 and I took one and his neighbor took one and he had the one left.

And ok I admit I took down the sign he posted because I wanted to think about taking the white one too LOLOLOLOLOL
