My mom emailed this picture to me. Have you guys seen this? It doesn't look fake, but it's hard to imagine a cat that HUGE!

LOL...I don't think it's fake as my Oliver is close to that size when he stretches and there's no fat on him, just a heck of a lot of fur....we couldn't get him all in the frame:

That's either a really large cat or a really small woman. LOL.

Dolly: Oliver looks like a big, beautiful boy.

Wow! Both cats are huge! Lucidity03, do you know what kind of cat that is? Dolly, what kind of cat is Oliver and how much does he weigh? I heard Rag Dolls are the biggests domestic cats. Is this true? Thanks for posting those pics. I still can't believe how big those cats are!

*runs out and buys a king size bed and 2mx2m litter tray* maine coons are the biggest cats. the orange cat looks a bit like one except the face looks a bit different, or maybe thats just because its on its side.

i wonder if pepe will get as big as that cat? hes turning 6 months on the 18th

Lol Kyles101. Pepe is so Handsome! He could be a super model! He's so cool looking. Do you remember that woman I was talking to about Maine Coons (she has one)? She came to the office last week and was telling me that Maine Coons can take five years to grow! Is that true? I read that male Rag Dolls can get up to 30 pounds. How much can Maine Coons weigh (like an adult)?

yep its true! on average they take 3 years to get to full size. the breeder thinks pepe will get to about 8 to 10 kgs which is... 20 pounds. but who knows, he could end up little, or he could end up massive as both of his parents are huge.

Dolly & Kyles101, what beautiful kitties!

Chessmind, I don't know anything about the cat. My mom and I are both cat lovers, so when her friend sent her that picture, she thought I would get a kick out of it.

My husband really wants that cat (the one in the pic I posted). I think he feels that it's one step closer to the large breed dog he wants!

I have two 18 pound cats at home. We've wondered if they may have some maine coon in them.

Chessmind, we highly suspect that he's a Norwegian Forest cat but we don't have any proof. They can grow for 5 years, right now Oliver is about 3 years old and 14 pounds. Fortunately for me, he's very easy going as far as the litterbox goes--I have 2 that are about 18"x24" and a small one for the kitten about 12x18"--he uses all three equally.
Kyles101--Pepe is a beauty!

Look at how big that cats head is! It is definately a fake. I have seen another one where a guy is holding a white cat about the size of a pony. I know that one is a fake.

GAWD!!!!! You'd have to build a wing onto the house for some of these cats!!! Unbelievable! And to think I have a teeny 8 pound Persian and a 10 pound one!
What and how much do these huge adorable cats eat??? Just curious.....I am in awe of their size.

Wow! They are huge! One of my friends has a rag doll, it isn't very big, and it is a featherweight! Of course, I haven't seen it in a little while, and it was about a year old when I last did, so she coudl've grown! I have seen a cat as big as the one in the first pic at Petsmart. He looked a little smaller, but he was a shorthair. He was HUGE, but he was handsome!
