My cat eats a lot, and every so often he has blood in the stool. Do you think is normal, or should I be very concerned w/ it? I am seeing my vet tomorrow and I will ask, but I just wanted your opinions. Thanks.

It be a lot of things including worms or Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome. It is not normal, but probably not life threatening if it is sporadic.

anytime there is blood coming from an opening that shouldn't be having bleeding it's not normal...mention it to your vet and if possible bring a fecal sample with you.
