my cat simba who is a flame point mix siamese gets into everything his latest thing is fish food....he goes crazy over it he loves to watch me feed my fish and then he will beg me to give him a tiny bit well thats how it started out and lately i have been feeding my fish and we have this cabinet that has child proof locks on it that i have been putting the fish food in b/c he has been knocking it over all over the place to eat it well 4 the past 2 days now we have put in 2 different cabinets both that he didnt see me put the fish food in but he still has found it and gets the cabinet open and then knocks the fish food to the ground and makes it open and will eat alomost all the fish food... its funny to watch him try and open the cabinet but i dont like him eating the food he gets an upset stomach and today he decided to get literally into my fish tank (10 gallon) and get a crayfish out to play w. he had his whole body in the tank he was soaked.... i was just wondering if anyone elses cat does this? or what weird things ur cat does??? i have 4 domestic short hairs and they do not do anything like he does hes destructive he will tear up anything and get into anything and when u try to make him stop he attacks u not in a mean way but playing but it still hurts he breaks the skin everytime.. is it just the siamese breed or what???

When I first got Chieve he was always messing with my fish tank. I had live plants in there (30 gal tank) and he actually removed every single last plant from the fish tank. I came home from work and there were wet plants spread out all over the dining room rug. I could'nt beleive it because those plants were pretty deep down in the tank...he must have had to practically stick his entire arm in there to get at them and he was able to do this through the small opening where the filter is. I replaced the plants and he removed them again....I did'nt bother replacing them a third time. He is the only one of my six that seems to get into trouble but I must admit he is much better behaved now than he was when I first brought him home almost 2 yrs ago. I sure love him though.

BTW, my siamese mix is very well behaved...she never causes any trouble at all. I'm not sure if Chieve has any siamese in him or not but he sure is mischievous.

LOL. I've also learned not to leave a new bag of food out of my sight for even a second. Mine are so quick to tear it open and make a big mess...even though they have the same food in their dish.

Your Simba is gorgeous!

Here is a picture of my trouble maker, Chieve:
