see, i was having some drinks last night, n when i was about to sleep, i thought i should have frozen the left over drinks, which was pretty alot, for later.

today, i just wanted to wash the mug out (without drinking it up), so i let it stand on the sink to melt. now lukcy, who is very much used to/love to drink out of the dish water, was licking the vodka...

I'm going to be a bit blunt, but where are your priorities?!

You should have stopped the cat from continuing to drink the concoction immediately instead of bothering to go and take a picture. We can take your word for it, no need to send photographs for proof at the expense of your cat.

And from the sound of your post, you find it very amusing that your cat drinks alcohol. It's not a laughing matter, in fact if I had your contact, I'd assure you I'd contact the local SPCA and report you for negligence.

There are alcoholic cats out there that die from cirrhosis of the liver. The animal can also go into a coma and die from it. It is extremely toxic for animals, anyone with some common sense would be able to tell you that.

Please keep alcohol AWAY from pets at all times. If you've had your drinks, then wash the cups and store them away properly.

I'm not going to apologise I'm sounding harsh, I love animals and cats especially and hate to see them abused.

There are lots of things that are toxic to cats, including alcohol, that people are not aware of. Things that are okay for humans may be potentially dangerous to our beloved pets. I hope others veiwing this post will keep this in mind before allowing their cats or other pets to consume human drinks and foods.
