I can understand why you still think about your cat. I would be the same if one of my babies disappeared. I don't think you can blame yourself or your mom for putting him out when he was sick. It must be hard that you feel your mom was horrible to him the last time he was around but I think it is most likely that he wandered off of his own accord. You say he was a friendly cat so maybe he lost his collar and someone thought he was stray and took him in, it happens and I am sure he is having a very happy life if that happened or maybe he did get hit by a car but if he did it must have been instant or he would have tried to come home. I don't think you can ever know what happened and get closure but you can at least have the knowledge that he had a happy life with you!

thank u and yes he was a very happy boy... if someone had him i dont understand why they wouldnt bring hm home when we put up flyers all around here and offered a reward...as far as getting hit i seached everywheer around here everyones colverts etc.. and still never even found a body... i think what bothers me the most is not knowing what happened to him not having any closure... to know weather he is still alive or dead u know... im still hoping that if some one does have him he will get out evenually and come home...im not sure....

Hello. I just wanted to say that your kitties (including Bubba) are beautiful). Not having any closure can be difficult. I'm sorry he is missing.
