i have a 5 week old kitten and i have to bottle feed him his mother abandoned him at 2 weeks and i took him in he has not gained any weight at all since i have had him. i feed him the kitten formula and i followed the directions on feeding and mixing. well when we found him he could not see very good at all that got better with time. now his right eye keeps swelling up and now he cant move his eye around at all he doesnt seem to blink very much either. is this normal. what could it be? well now he doesnt want to eat and he is very week. when he tries to walk he falls forward on his face or on his side. he will not let you touch his right ear and he is now pooing clear liquid and it is constint. i cant get him to eat anything and i have to force him to drink water. he is having a hard time swallowing i think he makes a funny sound when he breaths and he just wants to lay still. please help me i dont know what to do with him. it just keeps getting worse.since the eye thing last week he was fine and now today everything else has happened. i dont want him to die.help me if you can i just hope he makes it to the vet in the morning. thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitten. He DEFINITELY needs to see a vet. Sounds like you are planning on taking him this morning - let us know how it goes.

Do you have an emergency vet in your area? Or a vet that is on call after hours? That might be a better option if something like this ever happens again.
