I just got a kitten from the Michigan Humane Society three weeks ago. Before I received her, I was told that it would be a good idea to buy a stuffed animal that she could play rough with. At first I thought this was not necessary, but lately it has really worked when she wants to play rough. All I have to do is place the toy on the ground and she has a blast wresting around with it on the ground. It is very important to get a toy that is right around the same size as the cat. I actually had to go in the dog section of our local store, because all the cat toys were too small. I hope this helps some one and helps save your arms and legs from the scraching.

My kitten is now over a year, she has progressed in toy size from a little bear to a snoopy dog. She gets crazy with her snoopy. He is now missing his eyes and she is working on his mouth! It's so funny. Great idea for a posting.
