Approximately 4 weeks ago we welcomed a 3 yr. old male nutered cat into our home and after about a week of seperation we slowly introductd him to our 7 yr. old male nutered cat who has been with us since 6 weeks. We supervised them both very carefully and thought things were going pretty smoothly..an occasional hiss here or there but nothing extreme. After about 2 days we noticed the established cat acting depressed and soon discovered he had been bitten. The wound abscessed and seemed to be healing very well when he was bitten once again. This wound has also abscessed, but this time it is really bad. Both cats remain seperated almost all day only allowed out when they can be totally supervised. My question, how long do we let this go on before we have to remove the biting cat from our home? IP: Logged |
