iam6ftunder Hello everyone, This is my first post and I need some help. I have a gold fish that is turning black. He has black spots all over. The question I have, is this something I should worry about? The gold fish is not what I'm worried about,it's the other fish that he lives with. I don't want to have a sick fish in my take and kill all the big dollar fish. He doesn't act funny and is eating ok. I have checked the water and the only thing I have a real problem with is that the water is hard. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks rockin_speedy is your goldfish a fancy or a comet (feeder)?
I've seen this on feeders before and its nothing to worrie about. as long as its not like protruding off of him. it comes and goes. I thought someone told me that they are amonia burns but I'm not totally sure about that. iam6ftunder Thanks for the info. the fish is a "feeder".
Sorry I didn't add that to my post earlier. Thanks again for your ideas.rockin_speedy that's ok. I've been working at a pet store for a little over a year now and I have accumulated quite the fish collection. I've seen a bunch of feeders w/ that. and I've brought some home and it goes away and I still have those fish. They are all healthy.
