angelmy female kat tiggy has lived with other cat's and just qvoided them in a very busy home .now she is alone and in the winter last i realised she was lonely
she would go mad when i arrived hom and wiuldnt eat untill i was there.
On wednesday we are bringing a male 4 year old into the home how is the best way to handle the introduction?
ambateVery Carefully... When we first got our cats we carefully put the new kitten down to get her familar with her surrondings then brought the other in some hissed and ran but the got used to her after a couple of days just be carefull the first days and don't leave them alone for too long together until your other cat accepts your new bundle
PaulineAnother thought, please bathe kitty in an antifungal shampoo before allowing to roam the house and meet the existing resident cat. Why? Sometimes cats can be asymptomatic carriers of a fungal disease such as Ringworm, or have some/one flea(s), and a good bath and a dose of Program or use of another flea product can alleviate many problems in advance.
Best wishes for a great partnership.
sharonThe best advice for bringing a new cat into the home is to dicuss the idea with the cats you already have. Alot of people believe that animal cant talk and that they dont understand you, but thats NOT SO, they do indeed fully understand you and can talk.
Give it ago if you need further help with this, I would be willing to offer my services as an Animal Communicator for you. Please contact me at crystaldeva6@aol.com
