Try feeding the kitten using an eye droper Good luck and keep us posted. [This message has been edited by Auspetian (edited 08-05-2002).]Kailee Does anyone know what to do if a kitten is not eating because it cannot swallow .and can't even move because it is to weak? Steph Murphy I'm asking the same thing. My is the runt and was born two days ago. I try to bottle feed him with the kitten formula but it seems that he is too weak to even try to eat. So, i decided to put in a drop in his mouth at a time; was working for alittle bit; but now he just doesn't respond in any way. He's still breathing but o doing much else. PLEASE HELP ME! Albert Steph, Kailee,
or syringe (no needle of course).ann512 Hopefully i havent responded to this too late, i took care of a kitten that was only a day old once, and one question i have is very important. How old is this kitten? If its young you should make sure you are helping it have bowel movements on a regular basis (if you have heard about how to use a wet cotton ball...) if it hasnt been doing this it probably is very weak. If it wont eat from a bottle or a syring (no needle) or an eyedropper (even a drop at a time) maybe it is time to contact your veterinarian. Hopefully this helped
