Jessica RaeHey i really need your help/advice anything you can offer. i just adopted this kiiten of only 4 weeks old (!) coz she was so malnourished and her mother was ignoring her. She is the sole survivor of her litter and the family which own the kitten are way too busy to take care of the poor thing properly. Shes half the size she should be. She doesnt walk, play, hardly moves, gets cold, doesnt eat solids (wont go near them), she is so weak, all she does is sleep. Im afraid if i dont help her she will die soon. Please help. Any info? Advice - that i can "do 4 her" until we can get her 2 a vet?
Mandygive it some goat's milk or kitten milk. use a dropper(thats what i do)it should work. wet the dry food with some milk so it is soft.
BenTry feeding her using a baby bottle. Give her normal warm milk.

    Please let me know.........

CherylKittens probably are not completely weaned until they are 6 to 8 weeks old. In real life, they should stay with their Mom's until they are 8 weeks old, but most survive. Before this, they do NOT know or are their bodies ready for whole food. Furthermore, take this kitty to an emergency vet and get it treated.

I do not agree with using regular milk - they have "kitten milk" at Petsmart (or try Enfamil or other human baby milk formula) - use your finger or an eyedropper or try a nipple of sorts, either way, get some nutrition into this poor thing.
