I am so sorry you lost your pet to this collar type, and have in the past read on this only once occurring. Supposedly it occurs only if there is already a an existing condition of a possibly bad heart to begin with, but have always wondered, if this were so, this wasn't exactly a safe product.
Perhaps the Attorney General's office of your state, or better yet, your state's Dept of Agriculture that regulates, researches, all things animals/plants. I sure hope you find the info on this awful collar, and wonder if the collar itself misfired as well. Please let us all know so we can learn as well. God Bless.
