Clauvlox is another antibiotic that is avaiable. Always used with cats with absesses. How far is wound? it might need a drain? Cleaning it might not complety rid the affection away. I myself would prefer salty water as it gently and more natural way of cleaning it.. By the way how is absesses affecting the cats behaviour??
