Well owner is gone away, and you are not a familiar entity to them as well as the environment, so patient and perseverence! LOL! I gather you have the same food they usually eat, so kitty who isn't eating should begin nibbling when he sees it's safe to or when he sees the other pigging away. Just leave it in the cage, and like kids, will nibble slowly but surely. No need to buy other food, this is what they are used to. Make sure also, that the same type litter they are used to, is readily available in a clean box. I would keep the cage in a quiet area, to calm their fears. Good luck.
