My best friend's cat has always had rather puffy jowls, I just thought that it was a "male" thing, tomcat and all that.....they were always firm. Last night one side of his face seems to have burst, and we found blood all up the wall, and he just sat crouched in one corner. When I palpated the area, it was soft and gushy. Eventually he took off outside, and we can't find him. Any ideas on what kind of condition this might be?
