It's my understanding that mamma by her licking and cleaning of her babies, "stimulates" the action of the bowels, resulting in release of stool. I would rub the body gently, from head to toe, on the sides esp, and see what happens. This is so neat to have happened for you and the children, they sure get to learn a wonderful thing! I just recently found a little baby possum, 45 days old from what the Wildlife Center said and the trust it puts to a gentle hand is priceless. God bless.
