Message Body:
I don't know how you can get legal prescriptions without a doctors order, and not taking him to a vet, but that would be my answer: He needs to see a vet ASAP. Owning an animal is a responsibility of providing in sickness and when healthy. Just put him to sleep then with a humane shot so he doesn't suffer. It's about $15-$20 for a cat, and some vets and animal clubs would or could get a reduction/free for you. That is the only thing to do in this case then, rather than let him suffer more. Blood tests or skin scrapes or x-rays cost money. And please don't own another if it means hardship for the animal or you, it's the fair thing to do. You may love animals very much and give a warm huggie home but it involves money at times like this. God bless.
