Message Body:
I have a continuing problem with my cat Hera (a female, in case you never studied mythology). SHe's about 1 1/2 years old> To be honest, Hera's not the smartest cat.
Hera keeps urinating in the corner of my living room next to my speakers. This always happens in the night when I'm asleep. I rub her nose in it, smack her head a few times, then throw her outside but it hasn't helped (that method's worked with my other two cats when they misbehave).
I don't keep a litterbox inside because we live on a retired farm and the cats can go out freely. Putting a litterbox in is not an option (and my other two don't have any trouble with going outside).
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can make her use the backyard instead?
